Manado, North Sulawesi, Begining of May, 2013
At the beginning of May, I and my family went to Manado, Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia to visit my older sister and her family. We also came because of my niece was having a sweet seventeen’s party. It was my second time to go there, and finally I had a chance to go to Bunaken and did the snorkeling, yeaaay. Feel very exciting! So many beautiful fishes you could see. Manado is located at the Bay of Manado and is surrounded by a mountainous area. Only in Manado I could see the coconut tree grow in the highlands. The foods are delicioso such as, bubur menado, nasi kuning and we could eat a fresh seafood in Manado.

Manado City
Yogyakarta-Magelang, North Java, End of May, 2013
I decided to go to Magelang, the city near Yogyakarta to see Vesak’s Day celebration at Borobudur Temple. Ya, like every one else, I really would go there to see Buddhists fly the lanterns. I already know about this ceremony around 2 years ago but haven’t managed (yet) to see it directly. Unfortunately, it was a big rain during the ceremony. But I had the most memorable moment. It was the time when I saw sunrise and Borobudur Statue from Nirwana Punthuk Setumbu.
