Weekly Photo Challenge: Layers

I took these water lily flowers’ picture during my vacation in Malang City, East Java, Indonesia. Around Tugu Malang, there is beautiful lily water flower pond that makes me interested to take its picture.

We could take a lesson that beautiful lily water flower can grow in the middle of a dirty pond and moss. As a human being we could learn that no matter how bad or dirty the environment we live in, hopefully we could protect ourselves from the bad influences, and still could be a good human being.

What A Beautiful World (II)

Manado, North Sulawesi, Begining of May, 2013

At the beginning of May, I and my family went to Manado, Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia to visit my older sister and her family. We also came because of my niece was having a sweet seventeen’s party. It was my second time to go there, and finally I had a chance to go to Bunaken and did the snorkeling, yeaaay. Feel very exciting! So many beautiful fishes you could see. Manado is located at the Bay of Manado and is surrounded by a mountainous area. Only in Manado I could see the coconut tree grow in the highlands. The foods are delicioso such as, bubur menado, nasi kuning and we could eat a fresh seafood in Manado.

Yogyakarta-Magelang, North Java, End of May, 2013

I decided to go to Magelang, the city near Yogyakarta to see Vesak’s Day celebration at Borobudur Temple. Ya, like every one else, I really would go there to see Buddhists fly the lanterns. I already know about this ceremony around 2 years ago but haven’t managed (yet) to see it directly. Unfortunately, it was a big rain during the ceremony. But I had the most memorable moment. It was the time when I saw sunrise and Borobudur Statue from Nirwana Punthuk Setumbu.

Fall in Love With Autumn

I live in Indonesia, which is a tropical country that only has 2 seasons. But since I was a kid I always like to see natural landscape pictures, and it was love at the first sight when I saw colorful leaves in autumn season. For me, it is so amazing, that the leaves could be in different color in the same time. And it always made my heart beat every time I saw the pictures of autumn season. In my opinion autumn season is very romantic and beautiful, the best time for you to fall in love. And it is like a beautiful girl who looks fragile but actually has a strong heart, kind of the girl who could make others easily to fall in love with her :).

So that, I was decide that my first trip to overseas should be going to the country that has 4 seasons. I managed to go to South Korea in autumn season, but unfortunately, the autumn season was just begin, so I only could see a few trees that its leaves has changed. One of my dreams is visiting to several countries in autumn season. Hope my dream could come true. Aamiin!

I only managed to see beautiful leaves color in The Garden of Morning Calm, in the north of Seoul city, South Korea.

I am sure that you are agree with me that this below pictures is very beautiful πŸ™‚

they’re falling in love with the ground.”

Weekly Photo Challenge: Saturated

In 2012, there was music festival which called Java Soulnation in Jakarta, Indonesia. One of the performers is James Morrison. He is a singer-song writer from English. After waiting for him to come from several years ago, he finally came and performed in Jakarta. What such a good music he has. Good looking and good voice, it is such a good combination. I satisfied with his performance, hope he could come back to Jakarta, Indonesia later with bigger performance.

Weekly Photo Challenge: The Golden Hour

I took this photo when I was on vacation at Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. I always love sunrise and sunset moment, it is the time when we can see the greatness of The God. Plus at that time I have a chance to sleep on a boat in the middle of the ocean. It was a new experience that I will never forget. Since I was in the middle of the ocean, so it was easy for me to see the sunrise and sunset moment.

I took this photo at around 6 to 7 pm. At this moment, I and my friend suddenly stopped to talk, we were both silent and amazed with what we saw at that moment, it was natural painting of the earth and very beautiful. Although many of my friends say this photo is beautiful, but there was nothing like to compare by seeing it directly.

Thank God for the opportunity, so I could seeΒ  The Beauty of Your Creation.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Nostalgic

This picture shows one of living rooms in my grandparent‘s house in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Every lebaran day, we are all gather in their very big house. This room is used to greet the relatives who come and visit them.

But now, everything is change. My grandparents is already passed away. The situation is not the same anymore. We as a big family still gather in their very big house, but there will be no my grandfather anymore.

The constant in life is changes. We have to accept it whether we like it or not. It is easier to accept the things that we can not change or adjust our attitude to it.
